Bengkel "Tips & Tricks to Get the Most from ScienceDirect Database and e-Books"


Sukacita dimaklumkan Unit Impak dan Etika Penyelidikan, Institut Pengurusan Penyelidikan & Inovasi (IRMI) dengan kerjasama Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) akan menganjurkan bengkel "Tips & Tricks to Get the Most from ScienceDirect and e-Books" pada butiran berikut:

    Tempat      : Pusat IT, Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak 1, UiTM Shah Alam


Tujuan bengkel ini dianjurkan adalah untuk meningkatkan kemahiran pensyarah dan pelajar pasca siswazah bagi menghasilkan penulisan ilmiah yang berkualiti dan berupaya diterbitkan di dalam jurnal berimpak tinggi. Peserta juga berpeluang memperoleh maklumat dan tips penerbitan ilmiah dari sudut pandang penerbit ilmiah itu sendiri.

1. The competition is open to all students and lecturers in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from all over the campus in Malaysia.

2. Participation in the quiz is only possible using the BvD OSIRIS database in your library resources on campus. Copy this link http://osiris.bvdinfo.com/ip and paste to new browser. 
a. Fill in the answer to the Quiz Questions (as the attached pdf ) and 
b. Enter the details requested, including but not restricted to a valid email address and Student /Lecturer Number/ ID.

3. Participation becomes official once the details have been entered and the participation confirmation notification sent to senders. The closing date for submitting the answers to BvD is on 6pm 31th December 2014 to the email address: apac.quiz@bvdinfo.com

4. Participants may only submit a single entry

A. Participation:
a) The competition is open to all students and lecturers in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from all over the campus in Malaysia.

B. Competition 
The quiz question is a scenario analysis based on BvD OSIRIS database

C. The Winner 
a) The winner will be appointed after the quiz end date. The winner is the person who
b) Complies with all requirement set under Rule A above; and
c) Answers the Quiz Questions correctly; and
d) Understanding if there is a tie, the winner will be selected from the submitted entries by a jury whose decision will be impartial and in keeping the objective and rules of the competition

D. Exclusion 
BvD reserves the right to exclude from participation in the competition any person of misuse, fraud or cheating.

E. Contacting the Winner/s
The winner/s will be notified by email. The winner’s name will be published on the Library website on 15th Dec, 2014.

G. Cancellation 
BvD reserves the right to suspend or cancel the competition at any time on the grounds of force majeure.

H. Acceptance of the Rules 
a) Any person who submits his/her details to participate in this competition accepts that these rules are integral part of the competition. BvD decision’s is final and no enquiries to be entertained.    
b) The winners have to be presented the prize at the prize giving ceremony. Should there be no show; the prize will be given to the next winner.
c) In case the stated prizes become unavailable, BvD will substitute the prizes with equivalent value.
