SCOPUS, ISI and ENDNOTES X3 @ PTAR 2

On 27/1/2011, JPSP held a workshop on the use of Scopus, ISI and EndNotes X3 in PTAR 2 from 9.30 to 11.30 in the morning. The talks were delivered by  Mr. Shahrol Nizam and Ms Siti Rohayu, librarian from JPSP. Dr. Jaafar from MITRANS and his post graduate students attended the session. Librarian from PTAR 2, Mrs. Hani Liza and Ms. Nik Amanina,  were also in the class facilitating the sessions.

The talk started with Ms. Rohayu on how to use Scopus followed by Mr. Shahrol Nizam on Thomson ISI, and how to use EndNote X3 properly.

On overall, students are satisfied with the the contents of the talk and are asking for similar classes in the future. Thank you

Getting to know your faculty librarian

Assalamu'alaikum,

Researchers, do you know that every faculty and some centres in UiTM have their own librarian? We call them Faculty Liason Librarians. Their job among others are to promote library services, provide user education and reference services and assist faculty members and students in finding information in or out of the library.


Having problem finding information? Or don't know which database to use? Feeling lost in the sea of information? Or you feel like recommending new books or journals to the library.. or you simply want to give constructive ideas to us, then please call up or meet with our Liason Librarians nearest to you!

Disamping tesis digital, PTAR juga mempunyai koleksi tesis bercetak. Untuk makluman, tesis ini TIDAK BOLEH dipinjam dan hanya untuk rujukan di dalam Bilik Koleksi Terhad di Aras 3, Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak Utama (PTAR 1) sahaja.
